Adapter sleeves are quintessential components for positioning bearings with tapered bores onto cylindrical shafts. Versatile for both smooth and stepped shafts, they ensure easy mounting without needing extra fixation. When used on smooth shafts, these sleeves allow the bearing to be positioned anywhere along the shaft. Each EESCO adapter sleeve includes a lock nut and locking device for seamless installation.

2. Adapter Sleeve for Oil Injection (OH) --
OH sleeves feature an oil supply duct (or ducts) at the threaded side, along with distributor grooves in both the bore and external surface. Sizes up to 40 have one supply duct, while larger sizes are equipped with two, ensuring optimal oil distribution.

3. Withdrawal Sleeve (AH) --
Withdrawal sleeves facilitate the mounting of bearings with tapered bores on cylindrical seatings of stepped shafts. They are inserted into the bearing bore, abutting a shaft shoulder or fixed component, and are secured on the shaft by a nut or end plate. These sleeves, slotted with an external taper of 1:12 or 1:30, provide robust and reliable installation.

4. Withdrawal Sleeves for Oil Injection (AOH) --
AOH sleeves are engineered with two oil supply ducts at the threaded side, coupled with oil distributor grooves running circumferentially and axially in both the outer surface and the bore. The injection of oil through these ducts and grooves forms a lubricating film between the mating surfaces of the bearing and sleeve, as well as the shaft and sleeve, significantly reducing the force needed to mount the bearing.
